activities & impacts
The streamSAVE project goal is to streamline energy savings calculation methodologies to help Member States better implement the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and thus increase energy savings across Europe. A series of activities, divided into three categories, will be carried out with the intent of achieving results that are key to the project’s success and overall impact.
knowledge facility

The project will develop and streamline bottom-up savings methodologies with a focus on 10 Priority Actions. The methodologies will be made publicly available online via the streamSAVE platform.

streamsave valorisation

The sustainability and replicability of the streamSAVE results will be ensured, and the streamSAVE community and platform will serve well after the end of the project.

knowledge exchange &

capacity support facility

Peer-to-peer dialogues will be organised and one-to-one technical support will be provided and tailored to stakeholder needs in order to build capacity. Member States will gain access to a community of experts sharing experiences and techno-economic details as well as evidence-based support on streamlined savings calculations.

short-term impactS
Key stakeholders will gain energy saving calculations capacities and skills that improve their energy savings estimates, and identify previously unexploited energy saving actions resulting in long-term energy savings.
Member States will be able to more effectively implement policies under Article 3 and 7 of the EED, boosting their chances of meeting their energy efficiency targets.
long-term impacts

The streamSAVE project methodologies, platform and community will lead to continuous exchanges, increased energy savings and greater overall energy efficiency across Europe well beyond the end of the project.
